Help, I’m Laughing and I Can’t Get Up! by Liz Curtis Higgs–okay, I needed a fast book to finish this weekend and humor is always really good for that.

Autumn Across America by Edwin Way Teale–a reprint of his 1956 work celebrating Autumn in all parts of the United States. Part of his Seasons series.

Grace for the Moment II–By Max Lucado–a year’s devotional

Reading to the Children:

Encyclopedia of Presidents–a collection of short biographies of the presidents in as many volumes as there are presidents. We are currently up to Calvin Coolidge.

The Enormous Egg–a chicken lays an egg almost as big as she is and hatches a dinosaur.

Children’s Picture books who have won or are honorable mention for the Newberry Medal or the Caldecott or some other children’s book award. I won’t review them all but I may review ones that I feel either need to be shared or should never be shared.
